A facilities management company is seeking an organised and proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to support the smooth running of four office sites across London and Surrey. The role involves ensuring buildings are compliant and well maintained, conducting building checks, managing supplies, and supporting health & safety tasks. Ideal candidates will have experience in facilities management and strong organisational skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities or building management.
  • Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • A practical, hands-on approach with a good understanding of health & safety.
  • Confidence working across multiple sites and prioritising independently.
  • Excellent communication with staff and contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Help ensure all buildings are safe, compliant, and well maintained.
  • Conduct daily building checks and address issues.
  • Manage consumables and security support.
  • Log and track FM requests.
  • Conduct weekly fire tests and monthly emergency lighting checks.
