A leading utility provider based in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Design Clerk to support design coordination efforts. The role involves sourcing information from contractors, ensuring design risks are assessed, and tracking project progress. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience in electrical networks, and proficiency in Microsoft applications. The position offers a salary of £39,283, a bonus, and opportunities for blended working after the probationary period.
This Design Clerk will report to the Design Lead and will work within Capital Programme based in our Bury St Edmunds office. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of £39,283 and a bonus of 3%. This role can also offer blended working after probationary period (6 months) - 3 days in the office and 2 remote

You will work across UKPN directorates and external customers collating partner requirements ensuring the necessary information is available as part of the design process.
You will have specific responsibilities and accountability for:
To receive projects from Design Lead and assist the coordination of designers in reaching agreement of the scope of works and deliverables in the forms of milestones. The design clerk will work with and support, designers, design lead, principal designers and the wider engineering function.
