Role Overview:

To carry out high‑quality plastering and associated works to social housing properties, ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard. The Plasterer will work across occupied and void properties, delivering excellent customer service while meeting productivity, quality, and health & safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all aspects of plastering, including:
  • Skimming and re‑skimming
  • Patch plaster repairs
  • Rendering and float work
  • Dry lining and boarding
  • Prepare surfaces prior to plastering, including removal of damaged materials
  • Complete plastering works in occupied and void properties
  • Undertake responsive repairs, planned works, and void refurbishments
  • Carry out minor multi‑skilled tasks where required (e.g. basic tiling, making good, sealing)
  • Identify and report additional repairs or health & safety issues
  • Work in line with health & safety legislation and organisational policies
  • Deliver a professional and courteous service to residents
  • Respect residents’ homes, privacy, and cultural needs
  • Communicate clearly with residents regarding works being undertaken
You Will Need:
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plastering or relevant trade qualification
  • Proven experience as a plasterer, ideally within social housing or occupied properties
  • Ability to produce high‑quality finishes consistently
  • Knowledge of health & safety requirements, including asbestos awareness
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
