Job summary
A family-run grocery store in Preston is seeking a Central Services Assistant for a fixed-term contract. The role involves providing administrative support, managing customer care calls, and offering a warm reception service. Candidates should be ready to engage in various tasks that enhance the operational effectiveness of the Central Office. This is a full-time position based at the Central Office, where the team thrives on working together in a supportive environment.

Central Services Assistant
Location: Preston
This is a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 12 months.
Working Pattern: This is a full time position with a contract of 37.5 hours a week. This will be based 5 days a week at our Central Office in Preston

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Central Services Team, Working in our department your day will be filled with a variety of interesting tasks to provide an efficient and effective administrative service to all departments in Central Office, including Customer Care Calls, regular tasks and one‑off projects dependent on the needs of the business. You will also provide a reception service to Central Office, Stores and Suppliers, always ensuring the projection of a professional image whilst still offering our Warm Northern Welcome.
