Night Registered Veterinary Nurse page is loaded## Night Registered Veterinary Nurselocations: Leamington Spa, Warwickshiretime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR002902We are seeking a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated overnight team at Medivet Leamington Spa 24 Hour.In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalised patients during night hours. You will be responsible for patient monitoring, treatment administration, and ensuring seamless communication between day and night teams.Medivet Leamington Spa is a modern 24-hour Veterinary Hospital that offers a safe and secure working environment in the heart of the beautiful town of Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire close to Stratford-upon-Avon and its theatres. Leamington Spa has excellent road links close to the M1, M40, M6 and Birmingham Airport is just a 30 minute drive.The practice is fully equipped with digital x-ray facilities including dental X-ray, ECG, ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopy, bronchoscope, multiparameter monitor and well-equipped for laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgeries. Other facilities include 3 consult rooms, 1 dental room, a theatre, imaging room, full in-house lab and separate cat and dog kennel areas as well as isolation kennels and recovery kennels in a large prep room with 2 additional work stations.This role is a 7 nights on, 14 nights off, which works out to be an average of 28 hours per week. That’s the care for our patients, our clients and for each other – we really want to make a positive difference through every interaction we have.In this role you will:* Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.* Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.* Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.* Deliver patient monitoring and care.* Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.* Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.* Dispense and check medication.* Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.* Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.**Your Skills and Experience*** RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.* Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.* Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.* Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.* Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.Medivet is a leading veterinary care provider, with practices across the UK including a number of 24-hour veterinary centres and referral centres.
