The ideal candidate is reliable, patient and has a driver's license. Join us to make a genuine impact in the community.
What makes Community Integrated Care a great place to work:
Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.
Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible.’
We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or been shortlisted for over 100 national and regional awards! We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and, in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and PPE you need and will help you develop should you decide you want to grow your career with us.
Are you an experienced Care Assistant or Support Worker?
We are currently recruiting for a full‑time Support Worker and also Bank/Casual Support Workers to join our team.
If this sounds like you, a Support Worker role with an award‑winning charity could be the change you’ve been looking for!
At our Dollar service in Clackmannanshire we support four fun and outgoing individuals who live in their own flats in a shared building. They have faced many challenges in the past because of learning disabilities, mental health, and previous trauma, and they need friendly, caring and supportive people to build confidence, improve independent living skills and achieve their goals.
The people we support enjoy socialising, going to the movies, shopping, making TikToks, watching and playing football, cinema, walking, playing games and having barbecues in their shared garden. They’re looking for positive and patient people to help them try new activities and achieve their goals, which include going to college and finding a job. A driver is essential for this role due to the location and restricted public transport.
We provide support 24 hours a day, so we ask for some flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including day shifts, back shifts, waking nights and sleepovers, with some weekend work included.
The people we support like to be supported by people who respect them and their homes, but who also like to have fun!
We like people who are reliable, honest and able to remain calm under pressure, so they can provide effective support and build fantastic relationships.
