A construction company in Bedford is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist Project Managers with procurement, site oversight, and project administration. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in Construction Management, at least 3 years of experience, and strong organizational skills. They will participate in site meetings, manage tender documents, and ensure regulatory compliance. - Minimum 3 years’ project coordination experience with a general contractor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between job sites.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with obtaining building permits and maintaining drawing logs.
- Review all tender documents, project drawings and specifications for assigned projects.
- Support various project components including change orders and payment approvals.
- Supervise assigned site operations ensuring compliance with safety policies.
- Track and assist with forecasting materials and project costs.
- Order construction materials and supplies.
