Qualifications

  • Support various project components including change orders and payment approvals.
  • Supervise assigned site operations ensuring compliance with safety policies.
  • Track and assist with forecasting materials and project costs.
  • Order construction materials and supplies.

Our projects team is growing here at rcs construction. We are on the lookout for a Project Coordinator to join our team based out of our Bedford location. Are you seeking to gain experience in a fun, collaborative and fast paced organization, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! As an integral part of our projects team, the Project Coordinator will play a key role in procurement and cost management, site-level oversight and coordination, and project administration.

How you’ll spend your day:
  • Assist Project Managers with obtaining building permits, updating project schedules, conducting product research and maintaining drawing logs.
  • Review all tender documents, project drawings and specifications for assigned projects.
  • Support various project components including contemplated change orders, site instructions, requests for information, project notices, deficiency lists and payment approvals.
  • Supervise or assist with the supervision of assigned site operations ensuring compliance with all regulated and corporate site safety policies.
  • Participate in site meetings.
  • Track and assist with forecasting materials and other project costs.
  • Order construction materials, equipment, and supplies.
What will help you thrive:
  • Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Tech or Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years’ project coordination experience with a general contractor.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Procore and Jonas management software would be considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
