Job summary

A leading technology firm in Greater London seeks a GIS Specialist for the UK Gas Distribution sector. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in the utility industry, particularly with Gas distribution, and a deep understanding of related Esri solutions. Responsibilities include implementing Esri solutions from scratch, support for ArcGIS Desktop and Mobile applications, and maintaining interfaces between systems. Advanced knowledge in GIS technologies and frameworks is crucial for this role.

Qualifications

  • At least 5-8 years of experience in the utility industry, specifically UK Gas Distribution.
  • Thorough understanding of Gas data model and Esri solutions.
  • Experience in ArcGIS Desktop, AGOLS, and Mobile applications.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Esri solutions for gas distribution from scratch.
  • Support and handle requests for GIS applications.
  • Maintain interface components between Esri and downstream systems.
