- As a Band 7 Sonographer you will provide a supportive learning environment for trainees, participate in audits, and lead continuous improvement programmes.
The post-holder participates in the provision of a high‑quality Diagnostic Ultrasound Service to the Trust, supporting the superintendent radiographer in the day‑to‑day organisation of the department and accepting responsibility for designated areas of work.

- An up to date knowledge of current and emerging ultrasound techniques and relevant topics / professional issues.
- Demonstrable operational management experience in the health service.
- Knowledge of current policies and legislation affecting service delivery.
- High level of work organisation, self‑motivation, drive for performance and improvement plus flexibility in approach and attitude.
- Effective leadership and team working.
