Main Duties of the Job

The post-holder participates in the provision of a high‑quality Diagnostic Ultrasound Service to the Trust, supporting the superintendent radiographer in the day‑to‑day organisation of the department and accepting responsibility for designated areas of work.

Person Specification
Experience / Knowledge
  • An up to date knowledge of current and emerging ultrasound techniques and relevant topics / professional issues.
  • Demonstrable operational management experience in the health service.
  • Knowledge of current policies and legislation affecting service delivery.
Skills / Abilities
  • High level of work organisation, self‑motivation, drive for performance and improvement plus flexibility in approach and attitude.
  • Effective leadership and team working.
