Job summary
A leading food service provider based in Hatfield is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to oversee kitchen operations. You will be responsible for planning and developing menus, ensuring food quality and hygiene standards, and leading a small culinary team to serve 50-60 people daily. Location: Hatfield
Salary: £37,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week – 7am to 3.30pm
- To ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus
- To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations
- To be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers
- You will be responsible for a small team of 2
- Serving 50-60 people on site daily, all fresh food
- Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standard
- Overall responsibility for managing the kitchen team
- Provide feedback and coaching on performance
- To ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSSH and Food Hygiene training
- Managing daily kitchen operations, leading a culinary team, and ensuring high standards for food quality and safety
