Job summary
A leading IT consulting firm is seeking a Databricks Data Platform Solution Architect to engage in strategic solutioning, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior colleagues. You'll be instrumental in shaping deals, driving architectural decisions, and building client relationships as a trusted advisor. - Engage in solutioning and support on strategic opportunities, intervene in high-risk complex deliveries, and shape the strategic direction using Agentic AI, automation, AI engineering, data platforms, reporting and self-serve analytics.
- Work closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders to provide technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifacts.
- Play a key role in sales by creating innovative solutions, shaping high-level design, estimates, and contractual details for client proposals.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior colleagues, motivate and inspire them across the organization.
- Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language and value-based outcomes for senior business stakeholders, technology leaders and internal sales teams.
- Engage early with clients and sales teams to support origination, deal qualification, requirements capture, solutioning, and recommend best practices for optimal outcomes.
- Participate in client presentations, deal reviews, negotiations with key buyers, and build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with Data & AI leadership to shape current and future offerings, accelerators, and background IP to support go-to-market activities.
- Lead the development of intelligent data platform projects, build strategic capabilities for clients, integrate data from many systems, transform through lakehouse architectures, and enable reporting, AI and conversational analytics.
