Solution Architect – Viator API Implementation

Join our team as a Solution Architect to enable partners to leverage Viator’s APIs effectively. You will collaborate with partners, internal stakeholders, and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize end‑to‑end solutions, focusing on strategic consultation, commercial success, and technical guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with B2C platforms, OTAs and travel e‑commerce partners to understand business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Design end‑to‑end solutions using Viator’s APIs to address partner needs and maximize commercial success.
  • Provide expert guidance on API capabilities and commercial best practices that drive conversion.
  • Develop implementation roadmaps, both pre‑ and post‑development, to help partners build growth‑oriented products.
  • Advocate for partner needs with Viator’s product, engineering and business development teams for continuous improvement of API offerings.
Technical Leadership
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for partners during the API integration process.
  • Conduct API demonstrations for partner teams.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges, providing solutions to support integrations.
  • Assist partners in optimizing API performance for scalability and user experience.
  • Maintain technical documentation, use‑case libraries and integration guides.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years in solution architecture, technical consulting, product management or a similar role, preferably in travel or e‑commerce.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, RESTful services and integration methodologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript or similar, and API tools (Postman, Swagger).
  • Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms, travel technologies and B2C integrations is a plus.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements to design scalable solutions.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $75,000 – $80,000.
