Finance Systems Architect / Direct Line Group

Location: London / Leeds – Hybrid

What You'll Be Doing

• Play a pivotal role in supporting inbound business changes in the financial solutions function.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining financial systems that align with business transformation initiatives.
• Ensure that financial systems are scalable, secure, and integrated with other enterprise systems to support evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with business units to understand inbound changes and translate them into finance system requirements.
• Design and architect finance systems to support new business processes and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the implementation and integration of finance systems with other enterprise platforms.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within finance systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to finance teams during system changes.
• Continuously evaluate and improve finance system performance.

What You'll Need

• Experience within the insurance industry.
• Accountancy qualification.
• Experience in leading / implementing transformation programmes.
• Proven experience in finance systems architecture and implementation.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle Financials, or similar platforms.
