A leading construction consultancy is seeking a Year Out Project Manager to assist in managing the planning and delivery of construction projects. The role will involve preparing project schedules, compiling contract documents, and providing administrative support to Project Managers. Candidates should have strong A-Level grades and excellent communication skills. This fixed-term contract offers valuable experience towards Chartered membership of RICS.

Summary:
The role of a Project Manager is to manage the planning and delivery of construction projects. A Project Manager ensures that work is completed on time and within budget. They organise logistics, delegate work, provide contract advice and manage project teams. An integral part of Project Management is communication and stakeholder engagement; it is the responsibility of the Project Manager to keep the client informed of project progress and to effectively manage any risks, and delays.
Role Overview:
As a Year Out Project Manager, you will be enrolled onto Year one of G&T’s leading Chartership Academy which will allow you to start your preparations towards Chartered membership of RICS. You will be working towards becoming a professional with expert knowledge of leading and managing a project team.
Working within a team, you will be assisting with various aspects of daily project work as requested by your line manager. This role will be expected to work with a certain level of autonomy while also knowing when to discuss and ask questions to ensure the best outcome.
You will be gaining a sound understanding of your role, the firm, and the industry.
The role will be varied, and the actual experience gained will be dependent on the team and sector you are working in. You will join the G&T Chartership Programme to ensure you can relate the theoretical aspects of your studies to actual work experience.
