Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Willenhall, Wolverhampton for a Yard Manager. The Yard Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the scaffolding yard, including inventory management, coordinating deliveries, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety compliance. The role includes optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring client orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and time management skills to oversee yard operations and ensure efficiency
• Inventory management, equipment maintenance, and logistical coordination
• Ideally have knowledge of scaffolding equipment, construction safety regulations, and best practices
• Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and supervise yard staff
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills for liaising with the office team and addressing operational challenges
• Familiarity with health and safety guidelines and the ability to ensure compliance
• Previous experience in a similar role and/or working in the scaffolding or construction industry is preferred
• A valid forklift license or experience operating forklifts is advantageous
