Job summary

A UK primary school is looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join their growing team. Overview

Location: St Godric’s Catholic Primary School, Carrhouse Drive, Framwellgate Moor, Durham DH1 5LZ

Grade: Grade E, SCP 8-11 (£26,823- £28,141 per annum, pro rata)

Hours: 10 hours per week, Term Time Only

Required from: February 2026

St Godric’s Catholic Primary School is part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, a family of secondary, middle, primary and first schools in Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. Bishop Wilkinson is the largest Catholic education trust in the North East of England and will have a total of 48 schools. This is an exciting time to join our supportive and growing team.

  • The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to work as a member of a team and committed to providing high quality learning opportunities and developing independence in pupils.
  • The Governors wish to appoint a motivated and passionate Teaching Assistant who will make a significant contribution to our school. The successful applicant will support and promote the Catholic ethos of our school.
