Overview

Job Title: Workshop Plant Fitter
Location: Wellingborough
Salary/Bonuses: £35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience) + overtime & benefits

Neos Engineering are partnered with a well-established organisation operating within the construction plant and heavy equipment sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Workshop Plant Fitter to support the maintenance and refurbishment of their plant machinery.

Responsibilities
  • As a Workshop Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and refurbishment of a wide range of construction plant equipment within a workshop environment. Machinery will include diggers, excavators, dozers, and other earthmoving plant.
  • The role will involve mechanical fault-finding, inspections, planned maintenance, and breakdown repairs, ensuring equipment is prepared to a high standard before being returned to site or hire.
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction plant machinery; however, candidates with strong transferable mechanical skills are highly encouraged to apply. This may include backgrounds in HGVs, agricultural machinery, forklifts, material handling equipment, or other heavy mechanical sectors.
  • You should be mechanically minded, comfortable working in a workshop environment, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
