Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years experience of MIG welding.
• Minimum of 3 years experience of TIG welding.
• Proficient in the use of stainless and aluminium.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate metal components according to technical drawings.
• Assemble and fit metal components using various welding techniques.
• Cut and assemble components using various tools/equipment.

Job description

Candidates suited to this role will possess the following:-

• A minimum of 6 years experience of MIG welding
• A minimum of 3 years experience of TIG welding
• Must be proficient in the use of both stainless and aluminium
• Must have the ability to fabricate and assemble metal components accurately

Duties will be to:-

• Weld and fabricate metal components according to technical drawings
• To assemble and fit metal components using various welding techniques
• To cut and assemble components using various tools / equipment
• To be able to read and interpret technical drawings
• To perform quality checks on finished products - ensuring specifications are met
• Work to BS EN 1090-1 standards

Candidates need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work with structural steel and architectural metalwork
