A heritage organization seeks a friendly Welcome & Service Team Member at Stourhead in Warminster. You will engage with visitors, ensure they have a memorable experience, and deliver excellent customer service. This role requires a commitment to teamwork and adaptability, ideal for someone passionate about helping others. Contract duration is 9 months with flexible hours, designed to fit into the needs of the property and its visitors. As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.
Hour/ working pattern: 780 hours per year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the contract. Average hours per week would be 15 hours.
Contract/duration: 9 months Fixed term contract
For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.
You’ll be part of a great team working at Stourhead. As a property that is open 364 days a year you will be required to work a mix of weekdays and weekends, you’ll make a real difference in a collaborative, supportive team within a dynamic and occasionally fast-paced environment.
Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You could be at our Visitor reception, one of our garden entrances, or even Alfred’s Tower - no two days are the same.
Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with enthusiasm for delivering great customer service.
