About the role

Do you have experience of delivering and supervising frontline operational services in a Street Cleansing or Waste Collection Service environment?

We are looking to appoint a Waste Management & Street Cleansing OFFICER to join the service. You will be responsible for the daily schedule planning, deployment and supervision of teams to ensure that statutory obligations and service plans are delivered across the Borough. As part of the wider service, you will play a role in supporting the service to meet the requirements of the Environment Act 2021 regarding the roll out of simpler recycling principals and the implementation of food waste collections. Additionally, you will also support the continued promotion of the management of waste through reducing, reusing and recycling.

If this sounds like the opportunity for you, we’d love to hear from you!
