We are pleased to offer a vacancy for a part time, Band 2 Ward Clerk to work at Rochdale Infirmary.

The post holder will provide a wide range of administrative and clerical duties to the unit staff and will be responsible for the safe keeping and availability of all clinical records relating to patients and the smooth running of the unit office. They will also provide general assistance to the unit staff.

  • Completion of online information systems, which update patient medical records

Qualifications
  • Good knowledge and experience of PC based applications i.e. Microsoft Office
  • Achievement of National Care Certificate (willingness to complete).
Knowledge, Training & Experience
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills dealing with enquiries in person and by telephone.
  • To work flexibly as a member of a team and be willing to offer support to colleagues.
  • To deal effectively with people at all levels from a broad range of organizations.
  • Previous experience of working in a hospital/clinic setting
