The Nelson Trust is seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our Finance, Performance, and Risk Committee. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your expertise and support our mission to transform lives and strengthen communities.

About The Nelson Trust

Your Role

As a committee member, you will play a key role in overseeing the charity’s financial health, monitoring organisational performance, and managing risk. Working closely with trustees and staff, your insights and commitment will ensure that The Nelson Trust continues to deliver high-quality services with transparency and accountability.

Time commitment: 2-hour quarterly meetings held online

Who We’re Looking For
  • Experience in business finance, with senior level exposure to performance, risk management, or governance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to the values and mission of The Nelson Trust.
  • Willingness to attend quarterly committee meetings and contribute to discussions.
  • Charity sector experience desirable.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
