Visiting Paramedic or Visiting Nurse (maternity cover) - Hamble Valley Health

This role is full time or Job share, and fixed term from May / June for 1 year.

• Undertake home visits for patients as scheduled and triaged by the practice team
• Perform comprehensive assessments, including history-taking, physical examination, and clinical observations
• Make autonomous decisions regarding patient care, including treatment plans and escalation where necessary
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice
• Provide urgent care and stabilization for acutely unwell patients prior to hospital transfer if required
• Record accurate and contemporaneous notes using electronic clinical systems
• Support chronic disease management and preventative care during visits
• Liaise with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Collect data for audit and quality improvement purposes
