Job summary

A community support organization is seeking passionate volunteers to become Service Delivery Volunteers. In this role, you will provide essential information and emotional support to victims of crime, assist them in coping with their experiences, and help our staff with administrative tasks. This opportunity not only allows you to make a positive impact in your community but also offers experience in dealing with serious issues like violence and domestic abuse. This is a home-based role primarily based in North Staffordshire.

Location: Home-Based Role, North Staffordshire and SoT, City-wide

Area of interest: Supporting Adults, Supporting Children and Young People, Sharing Existing or Learning New Skills

Number of Volunteers required: 10

What you’ll do:

  • Provide information, emotional support, and practical help to victims of crime – by phone, online, or in person.
  • Assist people in understanding their experience and help them cope and recover from the impact of crime.
  • Support our staff teams with administrative tasks and keep accurate records.
  • Specialise in areas such as Serious Violence, Domestic Abuse, or Fraud.

You will be required to have a DBS check which will be submitted by ourselves and you will be reimbursed with vehicle travel expenses.
