This role is part of the Corporate Trust Analytics team and is based in Manchester, UK.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of statistical, financial, and econometric models for asset performance, client reference data, securities data, derivative pricing, risk exposure, or other sophisticated concepts.
  • Provide analytical and project leadership for assigned areas, independently conducting advanced financial analyses.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement techniques and methodologies for various activities and analyses.
  • Lead modelling projects and serve as a resource to less experienced colleagues.
  • Utilize tools such as SQL, data querying, and macro development to extract data and populate models; perform light programming or system configuration as needed.
  • Work with management to evaluate and select technologies for modelling and analysis.
  • Apply understanding of processes and products to support assessment of performance, risk, or valuation.
  • Lead complex projects with cross-functional or enterprise-wide impact.
  • Interpret findings, prepare standard and ad-hoc reports, deliver results to management, and provide recommendations.
  • Translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Review accuracy of reports and calculations performed by junior colleagues.
  • Provide work oversight and input into performance assessments for junior analysts, without formal supervisory responsibility.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and project leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel formulas and VBA.
  • Proficiency in MS Access SQL and VBA.
  • Knowledge of PowerApps, T-SQL, VB.NET, PowerShell, and Python is a plus.
