Job description

We are currently looking for a Utilities Foreman to work on various sites all over the Central Belt of Scotland, you will be working with 1 company but required to travel with them to different sites.

Travel would be paid for.

This job will be starting ASAP and will be on going work for the right person.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example of 3 / 4-man excavation crew, "hands on" on site, installing new potable water infrastructures.
  • Liaise with backfilling crews and reinstatement crews on site.
  • Promote a safety work culture.
  • Responsibility and accountable for the safety of the crew under his/her direction.
  • Communication and ensuring compliance with the Company QHSE policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate mandatory safety toolbox talk meetings.
  • Participation in safety/incident investigations.
  • Ensuring that plant and equipment checks are carried out on site.

You must have a CSCS card and full PPE. You will also need to have SSSTS or SMSTS, full drivers license, DOMS & National water hygine Card and a First aid certificate.

The rate for this job will be £20-£27 per hour DOE and can be paid via CIS/UTR.
