Overview

What you do as a Sales Director

Be the key to the sales process for the UK Water Companies, their Tier 1 contractors and the main consultants. You will be a member of the Sales and Business Development Team of the Business Unit Water Technology Products, based in the UK and collaborating closely with the other UK sales staff and business developers, as well as with the colleagues engaged in project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Develop account-based sales plans and work winning strategies.
  • Prepare initial and final offers to clients for bioresources products.
  • Arrange for internal governance and approvals of such offers.
  • Act as a sounding board for the wider UK Business Development and sales team.
  • Provide Water Industry perspectives and guidance on issues within the water companies;
  • Specific targeted client assistance - support the UK Team with engaging Directors or senior managers within (Water) Companies where possible;
  • Also target the bigger RHDHV offering outside the boundaries of the Bioresources unit, such as other sales initiatives (Nereda, Aquasuite software, consultancy)
  • Actively participate in the regular UK sales meetings, share experience and cross-discipline information between account directors and sales teams.
  • Develop and foster an active learning and improvement attitude

As our new Sales Director, you will become part of the Water Technology Products business unit.

The Business Unit (BU) Water Technology Products (WTP) of the Business Line Water & Maritime delivers water technology products like Nereda®, Ephyra® and Aquasuite® all over the world. With the ambitions of growth of our technology portfolio, we are looking for a colleague to strengthen our team for these exciting projects. We are a very international oriented BU, with colleagues of more than 10 nationalities working in different countries around the world.

In this WTP Business Unit, you will be part of the Bioresources advisory group which focuses on improving the sludge line of these installations with specific products such as Ephyra®, Helea®, and Kaumera®. The Bioresources advisory group currently has over 20 projects in 6 countries and is growing fast with a global span.

What you bring
  • Higher educational HND/Degree in a relevant discipline
  • At least 10 years proven commercial experience in the UK Water sector
  • Active network in the UK Water sector
  • Broad sales and technology knowledge and experience
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is an advantage
  • Active across UK and available for short trips abroad
