This is a vital role, helping ensure we can continue our support for the elderly, disabled, and vulnerable of our community. As a trustee, you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help the strategic progression of the organisation.

The current Committee has trustees from varied professional backgrounds and as a team together we draw from that experience. Any experience you can bring to the Committee would be appreciated and valued.

We are particularly interested in receiving applications from people with experience in business development and sales.

What will you be doing?

A good committee of trustees is key to the success of the organisation and we expect trustees to play a key role in the challenges and goals detailed below.

• To secure long-term funding for the longevity of the organisation which provides a vital service to the community.
• To move away from diesel operated vehicles and operate a green fleet of vehicles.
• To secure our own premises from which to operate, to avoid rising landlord rents.

We want to recruit someone who is passionate about helping the elderly and vulnerable in our community, to join our Committee of trustees and Council representatives. Our existing trustees are willing to support our new member. We are a not-for-profit organisation heavily supported by committed volunteers and have been running for 27 years.
