Job summary

A charitable organization in Leeds is seeking a Children & Young People’s Domestic Violence Practitioner. This role focuses on delivering vital support to young individuals affected by domestic violence, conducting one-on-one interventions in schools, and working collaboratively with families and agencies to ensure safety. Applicants should have relevant qualifications and demonstrate a strong understanding of trauma's effects on children. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until March 2027.

Qualifications

  • Professional qualification in Children and/or Young People’s services required.
  • Understanding of trauma and its impacts on children.
  • Ability to advocate for children's safety and wellbeing.
