A leading consultancy in Bristol is seeking a full-time Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner. The role involves development-related transport planning, including preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans. Applicants should have experience in transport-related documents, data analysis, and a strong understanding of UK planning processes. We are seeking a full‑time Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner for the Transport South team based in Bristol.
Tetra Tech is a leading consultancy with a strong presence in London and the south of England. You will join a growing and established team delivering a wide variety of interesting projects for clients in the private and public sectors.
Our clients typically include housing and commercial developers, local authorities, highway authorities, architects, town‑planners and other professionals. Your work will involve development‑related transport planning, including preparation of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, transport chapters for environmental impact assessments, and other development‑related transport reports. You will also prepare transport studies for our public sector clients, undertake site visits, and attend meetings as required. Some client liaison, including attendance at meetings, will also be part of the role. Full support will be provided by an experienced transport planning professional.
Degree or Masters in a relevant subject (e.g. transport planning, civil engineering, geography).
