Job description

We have an exciting and unique opportunity forTraining Officer to join The Biltmore Mayfair.

As aTraining Officer in our hotel you will be responsible for designing, planning, implementing, coordinating and/or presenting training programs in accordance with current The Biltmore requirements including harassment‑free workplace, diversity, new team member orientation, communication, compliance, and service series and other related training to meet specific departmental needs.

Analyse current training needs for the hotel, departments and individuals and make recommendations as needed. Develops or research training for specific hotel needs.

Training Officer responsible for:

  • To work closely with the HR Team, to execute and enhance Talent Management strategy including talent mapping, talent reviews and talent mobility.
  • To carry out orientation training and Forbes standards training across departments.
  • To administrate all the hotel training programs, including Health & Safety and supporting the Engineering department with compliance as required.
  • Take a hands‑on approach to training soft skills on the floor while supporting operational leaders with technical training.
  • Maintain records and provide reports relating to all training.
  • Partner with recruiting in creating an aligned strategy for internal and external recruitment of talent.
  • Manage external vendors to align the desired project outcomes and assess the progress and completion of project achievements.
  • Ensure all employees are aware of company benefits and make these available andmanaged appropriately.
  • Create innovative Leadership Development solutions aligned to identify business and talent needs.
  • Support the HR team with HR projects and initiatives as required.
Profil
  • Must have experience as Hotel Training Officer or Learning & Development Assistant.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal, with communication skills to clearly and directly communicate with a variety of individuals.
  • High level of integrity, flexibility, professionalism, and dedication.
  • Calm and effective under dynamic time constraints while handling multiple, concurrent demands and prioritizing responsibilities.
  • A highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail.
