Job description

Reporting into the Network Manager, you will be responsible for providing hands on support to our network team. You will support with the deployment of our network equipment as we build our new sites and expand our current network infrastructure. We are looking for a pro-active and highly motivated individual with a desire to develop and learn as the business grows.

Main responsibilities

The job role includes, but is not exhaustive:

  • Primary function will be building and wiring our network cabinet builds to ensure they are ready for delivery to site. (Training will be provided).
  • Configuring network equipment and organising delivery to site (Training will be provided).
  • Work with the Network Manager to improve processes and systems.
  • Occasional travel to our Data Centres and various locations throughout the UK to maintain and update our Network infrastructure.
Working hours

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday from 9.00am – 5.00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Experience required
  • Highly organised individual with the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy.
  • Able to prioritise tasks effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Whilst technical networking knowledge is not required for this junior level role, a desire and ability to learn and understand IP network designs (Training will be provided).
  • A full driving licence is required as travel to various locations throughout the UK will be required.
  • Some out of hours working will be required for this role
