RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, Oxfordshire, OX18 3LX – Permanent, Full‑time (37 hours). Monday–Friday working hours to meet customer needs; there may be a requirement to cover two weekends a year.
Salary £33,000 per annum plus benefits.
At RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, Serco has been providing multi‑activity and engineering support since 1997. Serco proudly supports the RAF and MoD, supplying 19 different services on site from engine and aircraft maintenance to fuelling and ground control services. RAF Brize Norton is the largest operating base within the Royal Air Force, providing air transport and air‑to‑air refueling to the RAF fleet. You will contribute enormously to the vital work carried out here and be part of the wider team of 5,800 service personnel, 1,200 contractors and 300 civil servants on site.
The Test & Measuring Equipment & Precision Termination Tool Co‑ordinator is responsible for the effective control and testing of calibration items listed within the contract and ensuring that the products and services delivered always meet the required standard outlined in the Brize Support Contract and comply with all regulatory requirements. They are also responsible for the delivery of Precision Termination Tooling (PTT), delivery of Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems (EWIS) presentations to customers as required, and the maintenance of altimeters.
Due to the nature of the organisation, all employees of Serco are required to be security cleared to SC level. If successful in your application, we would support you with the SC process. As a guideline, you would normally need to have been a UK resident for the last 5 consecutive years.
