About the role

Our team is the best in the industry – is it time for you to join us? The role belongs to GAP Survey & Safety Hire & Sales, a division that offers a broad range of survey and safety equipment and accessories for the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Technical Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Representative (TSR) will maximise revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and win new business. Key responsibilities include delivering sales presentations to senior‑management customers, attending depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering and collaborating with stakeholders across the GAP Group network – including Regional Sales Managers and their teams – to ensure proactive promotion of hire opportunities for survey equipment within their existing customer base. The role covers sites within the South West Region and requires regular travel.

About You
  • Significant experience in an area‑sales role within the survey & safety or hire industry, or a sales background
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth by maximising opportunities from existing customers and winning new business
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Effective negotiation and problem‑solving skills, able to work under pressure and prioritise workload
  • Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
  • Driving licence (essential)
