What you will do:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated team responsible for the initial assessment and duty functions within Children’s Services.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of services that meet statutory requirements and are in line with council policies.

  • Provide critical oversight and decision-making in complex casework to ensure positive outcomes for children and families.

Requirements of the Team Manager:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent in social work with current Social Work England registration.
  • Display recent managerial experience, such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager roles.
