What you will do
  • Manage one of five social work teams within the Safeguarding & Support sector, ensuring exemplary service delivery.
  • Oversee child in need and child protection cases, including PLO pre-proceedings, care proceedings, and adoption work.
  • Provide high-quality supervision, guidance, and case direction to a team of social workers and family support workers.
  • Drive the team towards delivering improved outcomes and maintaining standards across service and quality domains.
  • Collaborate within a multi-agency framework to optimise support and intervention strategies.
  • Contribute to developmental meetings and engage in strategic planning for ongoing service enhancement.
