Required from February 2025 (or as soon as possible) until July 2026 with the view of further continuation dependent on number on roll.

This post is fixed term for 28.75 hours per week, term time only.

The Governors of Parkview Nursery School are looking to appoint a temporary part-time Teaching Assistant to support the needs of children with SEND in our setting. Although initially fixed term, there is a possibility of the role continuing in September 2026.

Key Requirements
  • Relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years, good Maths and English skills and recent experience of working with young children with SEND.
  • Enjoys working with children and can form positive and supportive relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
  • Values play as an important learning tool.
  • Can be flexible and is able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Has experience of contributing to planning, monitoring and assessing pupils' learning and development.
