Role Overview

We are now recruiting for a flexible Bank/Casual Support Worker to expand our team in Dollar.

At our Dollar service in Clackmannanshire we support four fun and outgoing individuals to live in their own flats in a shared building. The people we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of learning disabilities, mental health and previous trauma and are looking for friendly, caring and supportive people to help them build confidence and improve their independent living skills so they get the most from life!

The people we support enjoy a wide range of different activities, like socialising, going to the movies, shopping, making TikToks, watching and playing football, cinema, walking, playing games and having barbecues in their shared garden. They’re looking for positive and patient people who can support them to try new activities and help them achieve their goals, which include going to college and finding a job.

Responsibilities
  • Medication administration
  • Cooking
  • Encouraging people to clean and maintain their homes and manage their finances
  • Social situations and responding to situations in a trauma‑informed way
  • Support 24 hours a day, requiring flexibility to work a variety of shifts including day, back, waking nights, sleepovers, with some weekend work included
  • Shift patterns currently: 0900-2100, 0900- Sleepover finishing at 9am, 0900-1800, 0800-2000, 2000-0800 night shift, 1100-2200
