A residential care provider in North East England is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist individuals with autism and learning difficulties. Your role involves empowering clients, facilitating social activities, and promoting their well-being in a supportive environment. We specialise in residential care, supporting people with autism and learning difficulties. We constantly strive to provide homes with a relaxed atmosphere that promotes individuality, giving each person the right to dignity, choice, privacy and independence.
Championing the integration of people into the community by using local facilities such as shops, cafes, libraries, public houses and leisure centres and drawing on public and private transport for outings or holidays.
Support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want. Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Dispensary – Swanton Care is a stunning care home situated in a picturesque village close to Durham. We are a new service, recently opening in May 2023, offering adapted apartment‑style living to five people who require specialist care and support, living with complex needs including autism, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
