Full job description

Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Support Worker in Ty Pin Coed, Meinciau Road, Kidwelly and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. As a Support Worker, you’ll provide emotional and practical care in a residential setting. No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but having the right values is important to us. THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE WORKING NIGHTS.

M&D Care are an established family-oriented business, which is run by a passionate team of professionals who deliver specialist, complex and bespoke care services throughout Southwest Wales for people with Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Mental Health needs. Role and Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and well-being through engaging and meaningful activities.
  • Work autonomously while maintaining the safety and respect of those you support.
  • Comply with regulatory standards set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
  • Work flexibly on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Additional Information
  • A variety of contracted hours available (22.5 to 45 hours per week)
  • Shift patterns vary and include weekends and night shifts on a rota basis

  • Opportunity to gain a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care after probation, with full support
