As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll be part of our client’s dedicated support team, providing essential care in their home. You’ll be employed by HomeCareDirect but will focus solely on supporting this client.
This vacancy is for 24 hours per week, which will be 2 x waking nights. Flexibility across the week will be needed to meet the needs of the client and to fit in with the other support workers in the package.
Join our dedicated care team to support a gentleman in his 30s who lives in his own home with 24‑hour assistance. Our client, who has learning disabilities and autism, thrives on stability, routine and inclusion.
As part of the team, you’ll play a key role in supporting his daily living needs while ensuring his safety and well‑being.
He enjoys being active in the community, taking walks along the river and going on holidays. Sensory activities are a source of comfort for him, and he likes to spend some time in a local sensory room.
To safely support our client, you should be calm, patient, alert and vigilant, with a good level of fitness to help ensure his safety.
