Supply Learning Support Assistant – SEN Schools (Northampton & Surrounding Areas)

Tradewind Recruitment Northampton is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in SEN schools across the Northampton area. This role provides essential support during staff sickness, planned absences, and training days, offering flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with additional needs.

We welcome applicants with experience supporting students with:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Physical disabilities, including mobility and personal care needs
  • Complex medical needs, following care plans confidently
  • Communication difficulties, including non-verbal learners
  • Social, emotional, and sensory challenges

Your role may involve:

  • Offering one-to-one or small group support to help students access learning
  • Assisting with personal care, mobility aids, and medical routines
  • Differentiating activities to match individual learning needs
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and therapy teams
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere
