Responsibilities

INVENTORY/STORES:

  • Inventory control, investigation and allocation
  • Cycle counts (weekly)
  • Controlling levels of consumables / stock (maintain stock accuracy)
  • Stocktaking (when required)
  • Keeping a clean and tidy warehouse

INBOUND

  • Receipt of materials
  • Returns / Warranty processing
  • Putting stock away into correct locations (both on the shelf and on the system)

OUTBOUND

  • Domestic shipping
  • International shipping including commercial invoices and any additional requirements
  • Order picking
  • Order packing
  • Running pick reports

ADMIN

  • Liaising with Sales / Projects teams / Engineers / Purchasing / Customers
  • Managing shared Stores Inbox (Queries, requests, issues)
  • Raising any issues with correct departments
  • Keeping all documents up to date in real-time
  • Adhering to H&S regulations
  • 5s Audit / walkabout (monthly)
  • Attend any Teams meetings as requested
  • Attend training session when required
Qualification
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Shipping using UPS (direct), and World Options (DHL, FedEx, TNT)
  • Knowledge of international shipping & customs
  • Organised
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Able to work towards targets / deadlines
  • Able to manage own workload
  • Able to prioritise
  • Good communication, both written and verbal (emails, phone, in person)
  • Able to use own initiative
  • Experience using Microsoft (Word, Excel, Teams)
