Job summary

A major insurance Group is seeking a qualified GI actuary for a Head Of role focusing on capital modelling and Solvency II experience. You will develop the model validation scope and act as the subject matter expert on regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills and exceptional analytical abilities. Joining amajor insurance Group, you willdevelop the overall model validation scope and plan, acting as the SME on the Solvency II/UK regulatory requirements.

You will alsosupport the financial risk appetite process, with appropriate early warning indicators, triggers and limits and reporting mechanisms whileproviding input into both the stress and scenario testingfor the Group and the wider ORSA process.

In addition, you willsupport the business with Risk and Capital Assessmentsfor new products, businesses and propositions where appropriate.

As a key element of the role will be reporting to the Board and other senior partners and stakeholders,excellent communication skills are a must, with the ability to effectively convey complex information.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail, are also essential.
