A leading healthcare trust in the UK is seeking a Specialist Registered Mental Health Nurse to lead a team of Clinical Support Workers, providing specialist mental health advice and treatment in an acute hospital setting. As part of this role, you will also deliver training for enhanced care and manage a team effectively. Applicants must be Registered Mental Health Nurses with relevant experience and qualifications. To lead a team of Clinical Support Workers and provide specialist mental health advice, care, and treatment to patients staff in the acute hospital setting.
Patients in the acute phase of admission to hospital or whilst waiting for appropriate placement, sometimes have mental health or enhanced care needs as well as physical health needs.
An exciting opportunity is available to join a new team of staff who will provide specialist mental health and enhanced care along side the acute care teams.
Registered Nurse with Mental Health qualification and experience to lead an enhanced care team across the Trust.
Offering specialist advice and guidance to our clinical teams caring for patients with significant mental illness.
Deliver a training programme for enhanced care and specialist skills in caring for patients with significant mental illness.
Line management, supervision and deployment of the enhanced care Clinical Support Worker team.
