A leading healthcare provider in Scotland seeks a Specialist Physiotherapist to join the Community Rehabilitation Team in Arbroath. This fixed-term role involves providing high-quality rehabilitation for inpatients and community patients, participating in discharge planning, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must have relevant postgraduate experience and possess strong assessment skills. The role is based on-site with a 37-hour work week, and part-time hours can be considered.

Fixed Term/Secondment for 1 year from 19th January 2026
With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist with relevant post graduate experience to join the Angus Physiotherapy Service. You will be based within the Community Rehabilitation Team in Angus which sits within the Angus Health and Social Care Partnership.

The post holder will work within the community rehabilitation team. As part of the team you will provide high quality evidence based assessment and rehabilitation for inpatients on the MFE wards at Arbroath infirmary. You will contribute to discharge planning and provide a key role in the transition of care from hospital to home. You will have responsibility for the training and supervision of junior staff, support workers and students.
The post holder will also carry a caseload of community patients across the south of Angus. The caseload is varied including musculo-skeletal, neurological, orthopaedic and respiratory problems. There will be active involvement in the Angus Parkinson clinic as well as the delivery of the better balance programme.
The team enjoys a close working relationship with other members of the MDT and are actively involved in Enhanced Community Support (ECS) meetings across the locality. The ability to travel across the locality is essential.
Within Tayside we actively support the NMAHP Development Framework both locally and within the AHP Directorate working closely with our AHP colleagues.

Hours of work are: 37 Hours per week. Part Time Hours will be considered.
