Job summary

A high-achieving secondary school in Hertfordshire seeks an experienced English Teacher to join their team starting September 2025. The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. Strong subject knowledge, proven classroom experience, and excellent student engagement skills are essential to inspire a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking. Opportunities to teach KS5 may be available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Specialism in English Literature and/or Language.
• Proven classroom experience and ability to inspire students.
