The role

As a Solicitor, you’ll have a role that is out of the ordinary. You’ll provide expert legal advice and support on complex commercial contracts that underpin some of the UK’s most critical projects.

Day-to-day, you will

  • Advise on complex commercial and contractual matters across multiple projects.
  • Draft and review agreements including MOUs, joint ventures, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure contracts meet strategic and legal requirements.
  • Support negotiations and provide risk-based legal guidance to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to governance activities, including co-secretarial duties and compliance processes.

You’ll work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at our Bristol or Warrington, Cheshire site. Hybrid working patterns are available, with two days in the office.

Essential experience of the Solicitor
  • Legal background, ideally with in‑house experience.
  • Proven ability to advise on complex commercial and contractual matters.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications for the Solicitor
  • Solicitors newly qualified or up to 3 years PQE - those with more PQE should not be discouraged from applying. Trainees due to qualify within the next 3 months are encouraged to apply.
Security Clearance
